Songs, Hymns, & Psalms
Songs for the
Journey is used, along with the Chalice
Hymnal and the New Century Hymnal, for
the worship of the Church of the Covenant community
on Sundays and at other services of worship.
The book contains 47
hymns, songs, and choruses, and 36 musical settings
of psalms and other responsive readings from
scripture. Ten of the pieces are written by Thom
Field, Community Member and worship musician.
Many of the songs and
choruses are are either very suitable, or are
written expressly, for children.
